Lloyd Brothers Estate Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre
The 2021 Estate Blend is produced from grapes grownĀ on the Lloyd Brothers McLaren ValeĀ Estate. A blend of Grenache (65%) hand-pickedĀ from the bush vines located a few steps from theĀ winery, Shiraz (30%) from Block 9 and ManorĀ Block, with a small percentage of estate bush vine MourvĆØdre (5%). The Grenache adds a beautiful, juicy plum character and spice to help create a delicious, medium-bodied wine. The Shiraz from Block 9 and the Manor block have lovely lifted violets and red/blue fruits on the nose, which follow through to the palate with some dried herbs, cloves and white pepper complementing the fruit.
